Blood Tonifying Chicken, Red Dates & Ginger Soup

A nourishing and rich soup filled with flavourful ingredients to help soothe and nourish your body. This soup is not only rich in flavour but also dense in with ingredients to promote healing, warming and immune building.
This soup is a great recipe to have on hand during the cold and flu season as it is packed filled with many immune supporting ingredients. This soup recipe is also friendly to the whole family and can be a great addition to your recovery regime this winter!
Ingredients
- 1.2kg whole chicken or parts, free-range preferred
- ½ of a white or yellow onion
- 5cm knob of Ginger, unpeeled and halved
- 3 medium carrots, peeled and thinly slices
- 5 Chinese Red dates/ Hong Zao/ Jujubes (You can find these at your local Asian Grocery store)
- 3 tablespoons dried Goji Berries
- Sea Salt
